Central Georgia Technical College Recognized as Top Two-Year Online Learning School by Newsweek

Warner Robins, Georgia— Central Georgia Technical College was recognized in the November 25 edition of Newsweek magazine as one of America’s Best Online Learning Schools for 2023. Gov. Kemp and TCSG Announce New College and Career Academy Partners for Central Georgia Technical College

Warner Robins, Ga. – Governor Brian P. Kemp has announced that the State Board of the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) approved grants totaling $6 million in bond funds to establish two new College and Career Academies (CCA) in the middle Georgia area. Both new academies will partner with Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) to offer career readiness training to high school students to support a qualified and greater workforce pipeline. Central Georgia Technical College Student Becomes First Dual Achievement Program Completer in the State

Warner Robins, Ga. – Aurmoni Robertson, a Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Academy student, has become the first completer of the newly established Dual Achievement Program (DAP) Pathway in the state. Robertson, who enrolled in the program in June 2022, has completed requirements to earn his credential, making CGTC the first college in the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) to award a high school diploma.

Central Georgia Technical College Names Peach County Educator to Lead New CGTC Academy

Warner Robins, Ga.— LaKeitha Weston, former Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Instruction at Peach County High School, has been named Executive Director and Principal of the Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Academy. The academy is a new initiative within the Technical College System of Georgia, allowing students ages 16-21, to earn an accredited Georgia high school diploma through dual credit programming.

CGTC Leads Technical College System in Graduates for Fifth Year

Warner Robins, Ga. – The 2017-2018 Academic Year marks the fifth consecutive year that Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) surpassed 3,000 total graduates, according to state data, becoming the only technical college in Georgia to achieve this benchmark from academic years’ 2014-2018. New agreement between CGTC and GSW smooths transition for Information Technology students

Warner Robins, GA – Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW) and Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) are partnering to provide new educational opportunities to students in an essential career field in today’s workforce.
