Executive Director of Campus Life
Dr. Bruce Foster was named the Executive Director of Campus Life for Central Georgia Technical College in November 2012. In this position, he is responsible for all aspects of campus activities, including student organizations and clubs and intercollegiate sports. Prior to this appointment, Foster worked as the Director of Student Support Services managing the CARE Center, the Testing Center, as well as special populations services and campus life. In this position, he was instrumental in starting the Athletics program for the former Middle Georgia Technical College. MGTC's Titans and Lady Titans basketball teams first competed at the club level and then moved to the Technical College System of Georgia Athletic Association. In 2010, the Titans joined the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) and the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) as a Division III team. Since establishing the Athletics program, students have competed in co-ed soccer, co-ed softball, and co-ed volleyball on behalf of MGTC.
Foster received a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies from Mercer University and his Master's degree in Education from Columbus State University. In 2011, he earned his Doctorate in Education from Nova Southeastern University. He is married to Jacqueline Evette Foster and they have three children, Breanna, Brudarius, and Bruce Jr.
Director of Athletics
Rorie Bradley was named the Director of Athletics at Central Georgia Technical College in June 2010. Rorie was given the task of building the CGTC athletic program from the ground up. Under his leadership the men's and women's basketball programs began their inaugural seasons in his first season as Athletic Director. CGTC will bring its total sports offerings to four with the addition of men's and women's cross country for the 2013 season. Mr. Bradley is responsible for all aspects of leading the athletic program and also carries duties as Executive Director of the CGTC Booster Club. He is a member of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and the National Alliance of Two Year Collegiate Athletic Administrators (NATYCAA).
He began his coaching career at Lander University in 2003 and was a member of the women's basketball staff for two seasons. Bradley continued coaching on the collegiate level as an assistant on the women's staff at Columbus State University during the 2006-07 season. Bradley's most recent coaching stint was at LaGrange Academy where he led the girl's basketball program for three seasons. He amassed an overall record of 63-21 during his tenure at LaGrange. Bradley received a Bachelor of Science degree in History from Lander University and his Master's degree in Public Administration from Columbus State University. Rorie married Melanie Warnock in August 2010.
Dorm Counselor / Wellness Center Coordinator
Ronnie Chester was named to his current position in January 2012. Ronnie who is originally from Macon previously worked in private industry for over 20 years. Mr. Chester is responsible for monitoring the student athlete housing including maintenance, room checks, and the daily shuttle. He also holds the title of wellness center coordinator and is responsible for the daily operation of the wellness center which includes maintaining equipment, check in and check out and managing the hours of operation. Ronnie received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a minor in Economics from Savannah State University. Ronnie currently resides in Macon, GA.
Rodger begins his second year with CGTC as the Athletic Trainer. Rodger is owner of Body Awareness Performance and Massage Therapy. Rodger brings over 17 years of Athletic Training experiences to CGTC. Over 11 years were in professional athletics (CBA-Continental Basketball Association and Tampa Bay Rays/Arizona Diamondbacks Baseball Organizations). Certified in Functional Movement Screening (FMS) and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), Rodger can assess and provide the appropriate plan of care for student athletes. With over 17 years of clinical experience, Rodger is adept at assessing, rehabilitation and return to play plans. Rodger has extensive training in Primal Reflex Release Technique (PRRT) as well. Rodger resides in Macon with his wife Michelle Fleming and his son, Chandler.
