Resources are available to help students use technology to succeed at CGTC. Each student is issued a student email account (myMail) which can be accessed through Outlook Web App. Online courses are offered using ANGEL Learning and SmarterMeasure is available to assess a student's readiness to take an online course. Students can check grades, records, financial aid information, and more using Banner Web. An online help request is available for students who need help.
ANGEL is an online course site that enables instructors to manage course materials and to communicate with students for online, web-enabled, and hybrid classes.

The Banner Student System uses a Student Identification Number that is nine digits long and begins with a nine (9) as the primary means of identification for students.
MGTC and CGTC merged on July 1, 2013 to become the New Central Georgia Technical College. Every student at MGTC will receive a new CGTC Student ID and student email account. This new student email account will not be available until the beginning of Fall Semester. You will continue using your current MGTC email account until your new CGTC email account is active. Your current MGTC email account will be available until September 2, 2013 in case you need to retrieve old emails. After September 2, 2013 the MGTC Student Email system will no longer be available.
