Student E-mail Information

Central Georgia Technical College provides student e-mail accounts for ALL students.

The default password for new student email accounts is set to your birthdate in MMDDYYYY format.

Do I have a CGTC student email account?

• All students will receive a CGTC student email account. Click here to see your account information and to find out your CGTC email account User Name.

How do I access my CGTC student email account?

• Use the CGTC Student Email Portal located at http://studentmail.centralgatech.edu.

Do I have to use my CGTC student email account?

• In order to avoid confusion, it will be mandatory for all CGTC students to receive their incoming mail messages for their course/college correspondence through the CGTC account. However, you may forward your CGTC e-mail to another e-mail account (see below).

I just registered. Why is my e-mail not showing?

• Newly registered students will need to wait at least 24 hours before attempting to access their accounts.
