Strategic Initiatives

Central Georgia Technical College will continue to serve as a comprehensive technical college and continue to offer its broad range of programs and services for its seven-county service area. In addition to its continuing mission, through the strategic planning process, the College has identified goals and objectives for future strategic improvement. When summarized, most of the improvement goals and objectives can best be accomplished with the support of several strategic initiatives.

The following priority strategic initiatives for Central Georgia Technical College have emerged from the planning process. These initiatives go far beyond the status quo; therefore, to accomplish them, CGTC will need strong support from the College community, the business community, and people in communities throughout the seven-county service area.
