The Information Technology Department supports the constantly changing high-technology environment of CGTC by providing comprehensive technology services to advance instruction, college services, and business processes for students, faculty, staff, administration, and the community. The IT Department works together with the college community by assisting with technology initiatives, planning, securing resources, exploring new technology, and implementing and maintaining technology projects. The IT Department strives to meet the needs of its stakeholders by staying current with industry changes and receiving input from all parties and the community, along with technology experts. The staff of the IT Department reports to the Vice President of Information Technology.

|Outlook Web Mail (myMail) and Network Logins||All students are assigned an Outlook Web Access email account (myMail) to use for email, calendaring, and other outlook functions. Each student at CGTC will also receive a network login and password to use whenever accessing the school's network.|
|Blackboard Learn||Blackboard Learn is an online course site that enables instructors to manage course materials and to communicate with students for online, web-enabled, and hybrid classes.|

|Student Portal||The Student Portal provides students with information and access to various forms (formerly accessed through the Student Secure Area).|
Resources are available to help students use technology to succeed at CGTC. Each student is issued a student email account. Online courses are offered using Blackboard Learn and SmarterMeasure is available to assess a student's readiness to take an online course. Students can check grades, records, financial aid information, and more using Banner Web. An online help request is available for students who need help.
