CGTC Cardiovascular Technology Program Highlighted in address Macon
The CGTC Cardiovascular Technology program was the focus of a recent article in a local publication, address Macon.
According to national statistics compiled by the American
Heart Association, more Georgians die each year from cardiovascular
disease than from all forms of cancer, AIDS, suicide and
traffic accidents combined. The Georgia Heart Center fights the
dismal statistics by utilizing the best techniques for prevention,
diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. In one of its
most recent ventures to meet the growing needs of its patients,
The Medical Center of Central Georgia (MCCG) teamed up with
Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) to create a cardiovascular
technologist training program that would produce new
cardiovascular technologists locally.
