CGTC Names New Member to Board of Directors

Robert I. Landau was sworn in Oct. 20 as the newest member of the Board of Directors of Central Georgia Technical College. Judge J. Taylor Phillips, State Court of Bibb County, officiated. Landau joins seven other board members who set policies for CGTC following guidelines from the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG). Each member represents a community in CGTC’s service delivery area and must be approved by the State Board of TCSG.

“I am delighted to be a part of such a vibrant and dynamic organization,” said Landau. “Technical education is a crucial part of our community and I am honored to serve.”

Landau retired as a senior vice president from NationsBank and is currently the principal of Landau Associates, a securities industry management consulting firm. He has recently served as a member of the Putnam County Board of Commissioners, and presently serves as the director and treasurer of Putnam County Food Resource, Inc.
