CGTC Names New Vice Presidents

Central Georgia Technical College Interim President Dr. Flora Tydings recently announced the promotion of three administrators on the Macon campus.

Dana Davis, formerly the vice president of Administrative Services, is now the vice president of Institutional Effectiveness and Facilities, providing coordination and oversight of evaluation and planning processes that support mission fulfillment and quality assurance. Davis will also be overseeing campus expansion, renovations and facility maintenance. In addition, grant coordination is managed through this office.

Gardner Long is the new vice president of Instructional Technology providing support and direction for all campus computing and network activities.

Elaine Truelove will be taking over as the interim vice president of Administrative Services managing all operations of accounting, budgeting and financial reporting, payroll management as well as human resource functions.

“It is my honor to name these deserving individuals who have diligently served the college and proven themselves to be dedicated to our school and its mission,” said Tydings.
