Publishing Company Holds EMS Workshop on CGTC Campus

Brady Publishing conducted a special workshop focused on the new national EMS education standards. The workshop included information on the new standards, benefits to students and educators, the development of the standards and how they will affect educators in the classroom. Participants also compared and the new standards with the current national standard curriculum.

Presenters at the workshop were Scott Snyder and Randy Benner, both Brady authors and active EMS educators. Snyder is presently the primary EMT instructor for the San Francisco Paramedic Association. Prior to his moving to Northern California, Snyder was the instructor and clinical coordinator for the paramedic program at the State University of New York Rockland Community College in Suffern, NY. Benner is a faculty member in Emergency Medicine at Youngstown State University in Ohio.
