Rick Perkins Award Finalists Announced

Central Georgia Technical College recently announced three faculty members as finalists for CGTC's Rick Perkins Award of Excellence in Technical Instruction.

Reginald Green, Learning Support-Mathematics Instructor; Kimberly Hicks-Grable, Adult Education Instructor in Putnam County and Teresa Wilkins, Department Head for Health Technology and Practical Nursing Instructor are the three finalists.

The finalists will be interviewed by a panel of judges, representing business, industry and education, on June 9. The judges will select then the winner.

The 2009-2010 CGTC Rick Perkins Award of Excellence in Technical Instruction will be formally announced at the College’s Professional Development Day on June 17.

Since 1991, the Rick Perkins Award of Excellence in Technical Instructions is designed to recognize and honor technical college instructors who make significant contributions to technical education through instructional excellence, superior leadership qualities and dedication to the mission of the Technical College System of Georgia.
