National Society of Leadership and Success Holds New Member Induction Ceremony
Central Georgia Technical College's chapter of The National Society of Leadership and Success (SSL), or Sigma Alpha Pi, held its first induction ceremony for new members on June 19 at the Macon Campus.
CGTC Career Services Director Tony Turner, who also serves as the chapter's advisor, was the keynote speaker, and talked about the importance of leadership in today's changing world.
Chapter president Kizzy Richardson presented the new members for 2007-2008 and presented them with a certificate.
The National Society of Leadership and Success is a nationwide community that guides individuals through the process of identifying and committing to focused and dedicated actions that lead to their personal success. The organization was brought to CGTC to help facilitate leadership training for students. Once a month, the Society hosts a live interactive satellite broadcast with one of the nations' top authors and speakers. Student members are also entered into a national organization that provides opportunities for training and networking right on the CGTC campus.
