CGTC's EAGLE Ambassador Willie Spikes Honored at 2008 EAGLE Awards Ceremony

Central Georgia Technical College's 2008 EAGLE Ambassador, Willie Spikes of Haddock (Jones County), was honored during the 2008 EAGLE Awards Ceremony held on February 15 in Atlanta.

The EAGLE (Exceptional Adult Georgian in Literacy Education) program recognizes and honors learners who have demonstrated exceptional achievement in statewide adult education classes.

Mr. Spikes, who is currently obtaining his GED at CGTC's Jones County Center, is a spokesperson for literacy education in CGTC's seven-county service area.
