CGTC, a Unit of the Technical College System of Georgia, is an Equal Opportunity College and Employer Reference and Instruction LibrarianCampus Location: Macon Campus Qualifications: A Master of Library Science degree from an American Library Association accredited program and previous work experience within an academic library reference and instruction department are required. The selected candidate must have a strong commitment to public service, excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional computer skills, and experience with automated library systems and Internet applications. Demonstrated organizational ability, initiative, flexibility, and the ability to work independently are a plus. Responsibilities: Provide reference services utilizing a variety of information resources and formats with an emphasis on computer and Internet research applications. Schedule, coordinate, and deliver library class instruction and orientation sessions in the use of library resources and services with an emphasis on GALILEO databases. Transact and maintain interlibrary loan borrowing and lending requests and local holdings union listings. Oversee circulation and patron database operations and distribution of library overdue notices. Maintain library usage statistics, user surveys, and other quantitative measures for tracking library use and corresponding reports. Assist in the development and maintenance of library resource guides and user training materials. Assist in the selection, acquisition, and processing of new library materials. Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of the library’s automation system and world-wide-web pages. Assist in supervision of part-time library staff. Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and work experience. Aircraft Structural Technology InstructorCampus Location: Macon Campus Qualifications: A minimum of associate degree in field and at least three (3) years relevant work experience within the last five (5) years are required. Teaching or training experience is a plus. Selected candidate must be willing to teach both day and evening classes. Responsibilities: To teach classes in the Aircraft Structural Technology Program Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and work experience.
