12th Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser
The Foundation will hold its twelfth annual golf tournament fundraiser on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at the beautiful Houston Lake Country Club in Perry. Last year, this event raised almost $47,000 to benefit student scholarships at Central Georgia Technical College.

Pomp & Circumstance: A Casino Night Fundraiser
The Central Georgia Technical College Foundation hosted the third annual Pomp and Circumstance: A Casino Night Fundraiser on Friday, January 20, 2017, at the Emerson Ballroom in Downtown Macon. Guests went “all in” to support this event, which featured Blackjack, Texas Hold’em, Roulette, and Craps.Proceeds from this event benefited the CGTC Foundation for projects including student scholarships and textbook assistance programs
2016 Race for Education 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run
The Foundation hosted the 7th annual Race for Education 5K and Fun Run on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at CGTC's Warner Robins campus. Finish line management and results were be provided by Classic Race Services. Part of the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix series, the Race for Education is held annually in September in celebration of National Literacy Month. The event raises funds and awareness for adult education in middle Georgia.
CGTC Scholarship Bass Tournament
|The Foundation hosted the first annual CGTC Scholarship Bass Tournament on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Lake Sinclair in Milledgeville, GA. It was a beautiful day on the lake as 28 teams competed for the biggest bass. The Foundation would like to thank the anglers who participated in the tournament and give special thanks to Visual Systems Group Inc. (VSGi) and CISCO for sponsoring the tournament. Thanks also to David Fox, aircraft structural technology instructor, for lending his expertise and serving as tournament director for this event. We look forward to building on the success of the first tournament and growing this event in the years to come.|
