Blackboard Information

Blackboard allows you to begin your online learning experience. Once you enter your username and password, you will go directly to your own course homepage.

  Blackboard Account Information:

  Username and Password:

The username and password for Blackboard is:
schoolcode_studentid

The school code for CGTC is 35 and your student id is the number printed on your ID card. You will NOT be able to use your social security number.

For example, if your school is Central Georgia Technical College and your student id is 910199999, your login would be 35_910199999 and your password would be 35_910199999.

Online students that experience technical problems should first contact their course instructor for assistance. Students may contact the Distance Education Specialist through the online Blackboard Problem Reporter.

  CGTC Blackboard Security:

It is recommended that you change your password once you have successfully logged into Blackboard.

  New Online Requirement for all Online Students:

All students who wish to take an online class are required to read and agree to the Online Classes Orientation Agreement Form. If you log into Blackboard the first day of class and your classes are not listed, please check first that you have signed the orientation form. Students who do not sign the Online Classes Orientation Agreement Form will not be allowed to participate in online classes.
