Admission Procedures for Transient Students

Thank you for your interest in Central Georgia Technical College

Transient applicants are required to complete the following steps to be accepted into the college.

  1. Submit a completed admissions application and pay the $15 non-refundable application fee by the quarterly application deadline.  The admissions application may be completed and submitted online.

  2. Request a transient letter from the home institution to be mailed to the CGTC Admissions Office.  The transient letter will specify which courses have been approved for registration while in transient status.

  3. Upon completion of the admissions process, online applicants will receive an acceptance email and registration instructions.  A student must be accepted to the College before he/she may be registered for courses.  Please note:  Acceptance to the college does not guarantee registration in a specific course.  Registration for online courses is subject to space availability.

  4. It is the student's responsibility to request an official transcript be sent to the home institution at the end of the quarter.
