DIS 150 DIRECTED INDIVIDUAL STUDY (0-TBA-1-12)
Prerequisites: To be determined by instructor
Provides the instructor and student an opportunity to develop special learning environments. Instruction is delivered through occupational work experiences, practicums, advanced projects, industry sponsored workshops, seminars, or specialized and/or innovative teaming arrangements. Topics include: application of occupational/technical skills, adaptability to the work environment, and problem solving. Each course should be documented with a written agreement between the instructor and the student detailing expected requirements. This course is offered with variable credit ranging from 1 quarter hour credit minimum to 12 quarter hours credit maximum. Credit hours will be computed on the basis of 3 hours per week for the duration of a quarter equaling 1 quarter hour credit (3 to 1 ratio).
