AIR CONDITIONING TECHNICIAN ASSISTANT (AX01) (EE)
Technical Certificate of Credit
The primary purpose of this program is to train students to help
a technician perform his/her duties more efficiently. The student
pursuing the Air Conditioning Technician Assistant Technical Certificate
will be introduced to the fundamental concepts and theories of air
conditioning. Students will take selected courses from the Air Conditioning
Technology diploma program with the primary emphasis being basic
skills and knowledge of tools, assembly, disassembly, and installation.
The student will also train for the EPA certification under Section
608 of the Clean Air Act.
