AUTOMOTIVE ENGINE PERFORMANCE TECHNICIAN (AEG1) (OS)
Technical Certificate of Credit
This program introduces students to the knowledge and skills they
will need as entry-level engine performance technicians. Topics
covered include theory, diagnosis, service and repair of fuel systems,
ignition systems, emission systems, and electronic engine controls.
To be admitted to this program, students must have 3 years automotive
related experience and Instructor’s approval or have successfully
completed the following courses: AUT 120, 122, 124, and 126. The
Automotive Technology program offered at the Milledgeville Campus
location is certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service
Excellence (ASE) and is evaluated by the National Automotive Technicians
Education Foundation, Inc. (NATEF).
