Technical Certificate of Credit
The Plumbing Technician Technical Certificate program provides
students with plumbing skills required in residential, commercial,
and industrial settings. This certificate emphasizes a combination
of plumbing theory and practical application necessary for successful
employment as a plumbing technician. Topics include materials, supplies,
and tools used in plumbing practices, plumbing codes, operational
theory of various plumbing system components, installation of industrial
and institutional plumbing fixtures and appliances, drain and vent
systems, gas piping and venting, and repair and service of plumbing
fixtures, appliances and trim.
