CULINARY NUTRITION MANAGER (CUR1) (OS)
Technical Certificate of Credit
The purpose of the Culinary Nutrition Manager certificate program
is to prepare individuals for employment in the culinary profession
as food service managers in setting such as school cafeterias, hospitals,
nursing homes or other operations of quantity food production. Learning
opportunities develop academic, occupational, and professional knowledge
and skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement.
The program emphasizes a combination of nutrition and food management
theory and practical application necessary for successful employment.
Previous in-field experience and/or completion of the Culinary Nutrition
Assistant (CUU1) certificate is required.
