WEB DESIGN ASSISTANT (WDG1) (EE)
Technical Certificate of Credit
The Web Designer technical certificate program is designed to teach
students the fundamentals of web design. The student will be able
to develop a project from a conceptual stage to its final production.
During the development of the project, the student will gain knowledge
of the software and hardware used in industry for the creation of
web sites. Some software covered will include: Macromedia Flash
MX, Macromedia Dreamweaver MX, Toon Boom, and Adobe Photoshop. The
student will be familiar with some of the various hardware used
in the creation of web graphics. Upon completion of this technical
certificate, the student will qualify for entry-level positions
in Internet-based media.
