POLYSOMNOGRAPHIC TECHNICIAN (POL1) (EE)
Technical Certificate of Credit
The Polysomnographic Technician certificate is to provide the knowledge,
skills, attitudes, and techniques necessary for entry level employment
in the Sleep Medicine Technology field. The Polysomnographic Technician
develops competencies in and performs the basics of polysomnographic
testing and associated interventions under the general supervision
of a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and/or the clinical director
(MD, PhD, DO) or designee. Some evening practicums may be required
for this program of study.
