The Gerontology Diploma program provides instruction to prepare
students for entry-level careers in health service environments
associated with the aging population. This program provides an overview
of the aging process and problems associated with normal growth
and development, with an emphasis on the development, implementation,
and evaluation of programs that meet the needs of older adults.
The required practicum will allow students to gain hands-on experience
needed to work with the aging population.
