Cisco Networking Curriculum

      

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA™) Courses 1 through 4 of the Academy program, equivalent to 320 hours of instruction, provide students with a basic foundation in networking. Students who successfully complete this portion of the program are eligible to earn Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification. CGTC offers this curriculum in three program options listed below. Click on the links to view details on each of the options.

Degree

Options for this program are numerous including Microsoft Windows 2003 MCP, MCSA, and MCSE, Cisco CCNA and CCNP, and Sun Solaris Administrator. Students can select the program options to prepare themselves for a career in design and/or implementation of LANs and WANs. Employees with these skills are highly sought after in the technology field. CGTC is a Microsoft Authorized Academic Training Provider, a Cisco Regional/Local Academy, and a Sun Academic Partner. These relationships provide CGTC faculty with the most up-to-date technology training information and skills.

The code for the Networking Specialist Associated of Applied Science Degree is CIN3.

Diploma

Certificate

The purpose of this technical certificate is to train students in the skills needed to design, build, and maintain small to medium-sized networks. This provides opportunities for students to enter the workforce and/or further their education and training in the computer networking field. This program leads to the Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) certification.

The code for the Cisco CCNA Specialist Technical Certificate of Credit is CSP1.
